yeah deff.
but if she is already beautiful without make up then why even put any on?Guys: if you see a naturally beautiful girl with no makeup do you assume that she can look hot?
If a girl is naturally beautiful to a guy, he's not going to be imagining her wearing makeup, trust me -- she'll be plenty fine the way she is. Traditionally, most guys don't want to be able to tell if a girl is wearing makeup -- ';less is more';, so to speak. There are obvious exceptions to that rule (guys who like goth chicks, or who have some sort of other fantasy ';type'; they like), but to me, the ideal is to look as ';naturally beautiful'; as possible -- with or without makeup.Guys: if you see a naturally beautiful girl with no makeup do you assume that she can look hot?
If she's naturally beautiful, then she doesn't need makeup, so of course she can look hot.
Um, duh? Yes

I have a hot yellow dress, how should i do my makeup?
i am 20 years old and please tell me the makeup tips which won't make me look older than my ageI have a hot yellow dress, how should i do my makeup?
1. Apply a sleek toner onto your face
2. With a makeup sponge, apply base
3. With a new makeup sponge, apply foundation
4. Apply powder blush, just a hint of pink for a rosy glow, with a dome-shaped blush brush
5. Get some black mascara and, with a tissue, wipe off most of the black color off of the mascara wand. Curl your lashes with an eyelash curler (BE CAREFUL), and then apply the mascara. This creates a natural look with less clumps.
6. Spritz hairspray on an eyebrow comb with bristles and comb your brows the way they grow.
7. Slick on your favorite lip gloss and you're ready to go!
Additional tips:
1. Since your dress is yellow, make sure none of your makeup is blue or green, or it will clash!
2. Make sure all your makeup is blended well.
Have a great day, gorgeous!I have a hot yellow dress, how should i do my makeup?
Make-up applied too heavily (or using color palettes unflattering to your skin tone) will make anyone look older and not necessarily for the better. At 20, less is more and any make-up you use should just play up the natural glow or fresh look - esp with a hot yellow dress.
Tips: use a warm color base instead of cool, don't go overboard on foundations or powder, use the lighter eye shadows with a dark eyeliner to accentuate the eyes and also keep the lip shade lighter and warm instead of too bright or overly dark. Depending whether the event is for day or evening, you can play a bit with the eyeshadow and lip color - going slightly darker for evening and lighter for the day.
That depends on which shade of yellow it is and what the shade of your skin is. If the dress is light yellow and/or you have a lighter face, you can use softer colors like pinks or lavenders. If the dress is more of a more of a mustard, you can use darker colors. Still, the darker colors might make you look older. When in doubt, you can always go to the cosmetics counter at a department store like Macy's or Nordstrom. They can give you a free once-over with the make-up brush to show you how to look your best.
you don't say your skin color or hair color.
You want to wear the dress, you don't want the dress to wear you.
Yellow is a color of caution in fashion, just as in life. what exactly were you trying to say with this dress? to back up, proceed with caution? or what?
if you are black you might want to use a lightly yellow lightly sparkly eye shadow or pencil on the lid. maybe a little shimmer to the neck chest and arms, depending on your weight and size.
if you are white, the best place to get a make up tip is at Ulta. You bring your dress in and tell the people who are the expects what the occasion is for and they are excellent at helping.
If your skin is white and you have blonde hair, you might want to use medium to light blues on the lids and perhaps some yellow, if you have the right tone. NARS makes a great cheek enhancers, the best color is called ';orgasm';.
it really a great color and makes your skin look dewy and sexy, but yet innocent. its a great product.
if you have to many red tones to your skin, consider using a green under the base, made by Smashbox, it will help tone the reds and use a brown blush, not pink or anything pinkish or orangish, yuck, brown is excellent to kill the red, but bring out the beauty of a womens cheek for hiding redness.
i would be more helpful if you gave more info. i hope i helped a little.
PS. Nars, smashbox, urban decay. they all make products that are very youthful looking and star quality to them. you will look like a model!
the way i endorse these fine products, they should pay me.
for yellow - just dust yourself with a little bronzer and then some ';gold'; dust on highlight areas, like your brow bone, a tiny bit on the apple of your cheeks, and, if they are showing, your shoulders.
the rest of your makeup should be very neutral with the exception of a bit of heavy liner (navy or smoke is nice) and dark mascara on the eyes.
DON'T wear any pink makeup - pink based foundation, blush or whatever looks horrible with yellow.
you're worried about looking older than twenty? haha. you're young enough (I just turned fifteen) Wear you know bronze or light pink colored blush or something. A medium-dark pink lipstick or lipgloss to look shiny, and some eyeliner. I'd stick to black, the other colors (brown, purple, blue, etc.) I think would look kind of wierd. wear some mascara (black) but not like it looks like you're wearing too much. Wearing a yellow dress usually means you're going for a summery look, and I think these colors would compliment this well. Hope I helped!!

black and yellow go well together, try black eyeliner and mascara. With the eyeshadow make it subtle, but still black, it will look really good. to make it subtle blend it in with a shade which is similar to ur skin. with ur lips, keep it clear, or just a slight pink, but glittery, put alot on and then your pout will stand out.
I'd go for browns... Black'll make you look like a bumble bee. maybe purples, depends on your complexion. To me yellow seems really youthful so you don't wanna be too heavily made up.. I'd go for like brown eyeliner, curl the eyelashes, dark brown mascara, something a little lighter than your eyes on the lids to make you look awake, and then like a nice shiny pink lip. And blush. We're going for like ';youthful glow'; here. Good luck!
MAKEUP
Wear eyeliner to define your eyes in the dark, making them more spellbounding...
Use a powder or eyeshadow a lighter colour than your skin along the inside of your eyes and just below the eybrow to help widen your eyes making them open up.
start with a basic foundation then a light blush. add a deeper lip color and top it off with bronze and brown shades for eye shadow. along with black mascara and brown eye liner. wear your hair up if it's long enough.
hope I helped.

the dress already pops...go with plum lipstick and light makeup and dark eyes..

Makeup From Hot Topic?
I'm Thinking About Getting Makeup From Hot Topic And I've Never Used It Before...Sooo..Help?Makeup From Hot Topic?
I have used it for years and have never had a problem I Love itMakeup From Hot Topic?
They are crap.
Don't use them.
There's nothing wrong with getting makeup from Hot Topic,
but it's just that, Hot Topic isn't really a makeup brand,
so just don't expect everything to work out great.
I'm not saying that it won't work at all, but the products just might not stay on for a long while.

I live in MO..ugh,hot and humid and it's terrible on makeup.I need a good eyeliner that will last, any ideas?
I have tried them all, I want something that is waterproof and last for more than a few hours. Willing to pay for something if it's good. thanks in advance for all answers :)I live in MO..ugh,hot and humid and it's terrible on makeup.I need a good eyeliner that will last, any ideas?
First of all never use a pencil or liquid. The bases of those are oils and in heat they all melt. I have always used a cake eyeliner. You apply it with a paint brush that you wet with a small amount of water. The eyeliner drys and returns to it's original form on your eye and stays put thru the heat. I'm 53 and have worn it since age 16. Trust me, it works. It is hard to find. Clinique sells cake eyeliner in brown, black, navy and plum. You can find it at better department stores like Dillard's, Macy's, Nordstrom's, etc.I live in MO..ugh,hot and humid and it's terrible on makeup.I need a good eyeliner that will last, any ideas?
go to qvc and look up bare essentials. the make up is minerals in loose powder form but they have a liquid that you can add to the powder to make it waterproof. Bare essentuals is the absolute best make up for your skin and it doesnt melt off your face in humidity. it is a little expensive but is soooooooooo worth the price. wont put anything else on my face. give it a try i think you will like it.
MAC, or Chanel-
If looking for inexpensive, Almay
Colorstay by Revlon or MAC Fluidline...and for liquid Maybelline waterproof eyeliner
I've heard about some people having tattoos of makeup on their face so they never have to worry about smudges or running... now of course you won't have much of an option in terms of changing your look, but it's something to think about!
try Revlon or Maballien, thats what I have.....
I use to live in Singapore; Asia, near the equator, where it's like dry and hot- 100 degrees EVERYDAY for 365 DAYS a year, and the humidity is like 100% or something! LOL.
I use Maybelline's unstoppable eyeliner. It works great, doesn't smudge till about 6 hours later. At least for me it doesn't. And taking it off is easy. Now I'm staying in the US, but I still go back to the same eyeliner, because it works so good for me, I dont bother trying anything else!

Oh, I get it from Wal Mart or Walgreens here, it's about 4 bucks or so. Around there.
I recommend Smashbox cream eyeliner. It is waterproof after 60 seconds and lasts all day.
MAC...the whole line is quite good.
Mary Kay offers a great eye liner you can check out the colors and email her from the website and she'll send you samples to try!!! They are great the site it www.marykay.com/kfrench2006

Cananyone tell me how to put on makeup to look cute/hot?
i want to loook super good for school and im 14 turning 15 and i want to know how to put on my makeup to look good. i have hazel eyes fair skin and oval face and blonde long hair..pleasee help??? thanks and instructions on how to put it on and what to wear..thanksCananyone tell me how to put on makeup to look cute/hot?
Hey, i understand you problem i had to help all of my friends and younger family put on makeup so i very good at it. The trick is to use colors that match your skind tone and eye color, the easiest way to match your eye makeup with your eye color is #1 (most imprtant rule) never match your eye products color with the color of your eyes this will drain the color out of them so if you have brown eyes the best color to use that would bring them out would be a pink (perferabley a lighter pink) or green (forest green works the best) the trick is if you have a dark color of eyes like brown use more lighter colors cuz if you whole eye appears dark it wont look good.
The best way to make your make-up look sexy is through your eyes, PLAY UP YOUR EYES!!!!
Steps:
1) Take black eye line (liquid or pencil doesnt matter) out line the bottom part of your eye (**thin line)
2) close one of your eyes and draw a verything line of eye line right on the edge of you lip makeing sure you line the whole lid. When each eye is done check to make sure each line is even....
3) then use your eyeshadow, depending on it you just want to put the shadow on the lid or who eye will make a big difference, if you want to put it on your whole eye i would suggest buying ALMAY INTENSE I-COLOR POWDER SHADOW TRIO FOR HAZEL EYES, if you buy this it will have the instructions on the box on how to apply it but make sure you blend the colors together evenly other wise you might look like a clown. if you decide to put it on the lid and that only then just take a a powedered shadow or and eyeshadow pencil(i think the pencil works the best cuz it goes on creamy and looks more vibarent which makes for a more sexy look)
4) The last step is mascara, to get the best results for mascara take a eye lash curler and heat it up with the your blow-dryer for about 30 seconds, then take your mascara and dab the brush off on paper towl (not kleenex it will leave particals on the brush) this makes sure you get all the clumps off so it applys evenly on your lash's. when you apply the mascara i would advice you to open your mouth beacuse when you put it on start from the beging of you lash and then blink. dont comb through your lashs with the brush this will cause eyelashs to not even out, then after applying your mascara let it dry for about 1 minute and if your lash curler isnt warm still then reheat it but make sure you dont get it to hot then curl your lashs but make sure you place the curler in the midle of the lashes dont place it at the end or begining cuz this will only make the droopy or it will look like your wearing fake eyelashs...
if you follow these simply steps your eyes will look really sexy and you eyecolor will pop and be more vibarant looking (just keep in mind to complement the color of your eyes to your make-up this is a big mistake people make)
thanks and hope you like the results cuz i do!!
courtneyCananyone tell me how to put on makeup to look cute/hot?
your coloring is like mine~ try a nice classic brown or a nice amethest color...it is a purplish color eye line...black is too harsh for your coloring ...trust me it will look ikky~ a nice coral/pinkish shimmery blush and lip gloss in that color is great for coloring like yours too~ i wear those colors and it makes my green eys stand out and it looks nice w/my skin coloring too.
I can tell you but when you see a picture it is so much easier..
Let me give u a website that you can add your color hair, color of eyes, skin color, eye shape, lip shape and it will tell you the colors as well as what color combo you should use.. Since you are young dont rush into anything heavy.. Just something nice and basic. Like lip gloss and a lil bit of mascara and/Or a lil bit of eyeliner that blends with you. Good colors for your skin is blk/brown, brown, mascaras and eyelinres..
Well u apply foundation apply it with your fingers or a sponge! Dab all over your face and blend blend blend!!!! Then brush powder all over your face to make the foundation set. Then apply eye makeup then apply blusher to the cheeks. Then u r done!!!!!!!1
Go look for this makeup: An Eyeshadow that very close to you skin an a little bit darker brown. (usally you can get 3 eyeshadown fo brown in one). Conseler that fits your skin, mascara,an eyeliner.
Take the conseler an put it around you eyes (if you have bags under your eyes, put some there ) take the eyeshadow from your eye lashes to the top of your eye browns for a smooth natrual look, then take the lttile bit darker brown an take that from your eye lashes to the creas of you eye then put mascra on and very light eye liner on the top lid.
Putting eyeliner on the top lid kind of hard if you never did it. so practice befor you wear it to school.
putting eyeliner on the top: take the coner or your eye an pull it out towars you ear an lightly take the eyeliner from where your eyelashes start to the other end (dont go pass that)take a q tip and lightly whip it for a smoother look.
wear black eyeliner with mascara and like a grayish whiteish but mostly black eye shadow. its better if you have a dark eyeshadow on then at the middle or the tip of your eyelid put a shiny or sparkly eyeshadow maybe whiteish or gray. it looks good!!
best thing I can tell you is to not over do it - make sure you buy makeup for your skin type (oily, dry etc.)
you can go to your local mall and get a ';free'; makeover on the weekends - they will give you a little how to
if you can't do that go to the dollar section of a drugstore and buy some differnt colors and play around with some of your girlfriends or just by yourself - you will find what you like and what looks good.. thats how I learned
also - if you see someone at school that did a good job with their makeup.. ask them how they did it :) have fun!
im 14 too. first make sure your skin is clean and mousterised. apply your foundation (dream matte mousse is really good) with a wedge shaped sponge. then your concealer if you need it , then use a large brush to dust some powder over your face. then apply some bronzer (because you have fair skin make sure its not too orange and is just a couple of shades darker than your foundation) apply it to places that hit the sun like your forehead, bridge of your nose and your cheekbones. BUT NOT YOUR CHIN. then apply some blush too the apples of the cheeks(you blush should be light pink i think coz ur pale) and black mascara. a little eyeliner if you want and curling your eyelashes looks cute. make sure your eyebrows are in shape and some lipgloss!!!!!!
go to the makeup counter at the department store or head to the pharmacy and spend a lot of time looking around and trying different products. If you have an even skin tone (minimal redness/zits) then i just skip foundation all together and consider yourself very very lucky. Otherwise, find a foundation that matches your skin tone exactly. There's so many out there that its almost impossible not to find one. Since you're younger, i would go with Neutrogena and stay away from Loreal. If you have normal/oil skin, go for a powder foundation. If you have dry skin, go with either a tinted moisturizer or a cream foundation. With the cream/moisturizer, just put a tiny bit in your palm (about the size of a dime/penny) and then work it over your face as if you were putting on sunscreen. Be careful around your eyebrows and hairline, and also your jawline. With a powder foundation, take a foundation brush (they tend to be larger and wider) and swirl the brush into the powder and apply on your face using circular motions. Make sure its even and lightly applied. There's nothign worse than the feeling of caked on makeup, plus its really bad for your skin.
Then, for blush, pick a color that you think looks natural (smile and then pinch your cheeks where they get full, and see what color that is). When you're ready to apply, smile and apply where you pinched before. Brush VERY LIGHTLY sweeping out towards your hair line.
Eye shadow--i'd stick to neutral tones. Its better to look fresh and natural than all made up, especially at school. Trust me, you'll get noticed a lot more if you just look super cute and pretty than all made up with gallons of crazy colors all over your face. They have light brown shades that look great. Close one eye and very lightly brush the powder onto your lids starting at the lash line and the inside and smooth it to the outside and the crease, just under your brow bown. Its easier for me if i tug on the outside corner of my eye, just so its a smooth and flat surface.
Then mascara, go for a black/brown and just take the wand and brush it onto your lashes. Careful about blinking too hard right away otherwise you'll have mascara lines under your eyes. Only apply it to your upper lashes, otherwise you'll look like the crazy old ladies with chunks of mascara hanging from their lids.
And voila, you're done.
the important thing to do is practice before you actually go to school so you have a basic idea of what you're doing and how its going to look before the big day.

How can I go from cute to hot using makeup?
I've had more than one guy say I'm 'cute'...but I've never reached that more mature, 'hot' label. It's always something that's sort of bothered me. I'd like to do some more experimental make-up but I'm kind of scared.
Here's what I wear every day-
Fair Neutrogena Mineral Sheers Powder Foundation
Whatever concealer I can find
Brown CoverGirl LashExact Mascara (upper lashes only)
Brown Topaz Almay Intense i-Color Eyeliner (lower lashline only)
Smart shade Almay blush (special occasions)
And some lipgloss- mostly C.O. Bigelow's Magenta Mint.
What can I do to make my look hotter? How can I go from cute to hot using makeup?
Do a smokey eye anda nude lip. Mac have some great nude lip colours.
Log on to youtube and if there is a particular colour you want to experiment with do a search in youtube. ie ';purple eyeshadow'; or ';purple smokey eyes'; for example; youtube will display numerous tutorials using purple eyeshadow.
You might see some tutorials by expertvillage ignore as they are not that informative.

try going for the smokey eye look...
-get some black liquid eyeliner and make a very thin line..that makes your eyelashes seem fuller
-use a brown %26amp; dark purple eye shadow
-i reccomend voluminous mascara it works great
-depending on what eye color you have use a nice dark brown eye pencil or black for the lower lid
and some bronzer adds a nice tan which looks great
try linning the outter corners in a dark green. the white in the inner sorners of the eye. %26lt;o%26gt; K thats an eye.ok. the first triangle thingy is white or a light colour. and then the 2nd triangle is a dark colour ...u konw what i mean...LOL. hope this helped. OHH! and try dusting a bronzer on the brige of the nose cheke bone. and apples of da cheeks all the way to da ear. try smilling to find the apple.
AND finish with some mascara. VOILA!
Getting called cute is better than hot. Guys only call girls hot because they think they're some sex object or something. When you get called cute, gorgeous, beautiful, etc... they actually mean it and it's not in a trashy way either.
switch your blush for some bronzer. its more natural.
Plus you can try darker eye colors
maybe you should try:
a peachy orange color eye shadow
black eyeliner
black mascara
light pink blush
for lipgloss you could try the transparent color.
hope i helped :)
start wearing dark colours on you lids like purple and navy. And wear makeup that brings out your cheek bones
