Because men are more visual, they are more attacted to visual beauty, while women find men attractive for less visual reasons.
Women look fine without makeup too. 20 years ago, most teenagers barely wore any. It didn't stop the attraction.
These days, women think that they'll die without it. Their loss, IMO. It ought to be a nice option for you, not an addiction.
Guys will be wearing makeup soon. I hope we don't overdo it when the time comes...
haha i think girls are lucky...cause if their ugly they can somewhat cover it up with makeup....guys if theyre ugly they cant really do anything about it...so if they are hot theyre truly hot cause you know thats the way they really look. sometimes you have a hot girl, whos not so hot when all that makeup comes off!!

It's your human instincts telling you that that guy with the good looks and the nice bod would make a good mate. The idea being that you have lots of children who happen to share your most excellent characteristics and they themselves continue to make more wonderful kids.

lol i dunno......i've got a few male friends that look pretty hot with a little eyeliner and mascara.....hehehehe
and one even has nice long hair! :D
but in the larger sense, it's just what the other posters put.
