What's the best makeup to wear in boiling hot weather ?

i loove wearing foundation, and in the summer i'm spending my time in penticton and its BOILING HOT there !! please help, what's the best foundation ?

oh nd, water proof eye liner is the best type right ?What's the best makeup to wear in boiling hot weather ?
You might try a mineral make up like bareMinerals.

You might also try to mix your favorite cream foundation with a little bit of lotion. That way it is light, it won't melt off your face, and if you pick a lotion with SPF it will help protect your skin in the sun, too.

You might also look into just using a lotion with a bronzer in it and ditch the foundation altogether during the hot summer months. What's the best makeup to wear in boiling hot weather ?
Go to Videojug for make up tips and advice. I found out from one of the make up artists it is silicone products that are used and have the staying power for beach and watersports. Why haven't we been told that one before?

So, waterproof items will stay on if non oily products are used. Perhaps we have thrown out good make up in the past because other products(with oil) have ruined the results we so wanted!

Minerals make up is good for summer. You can refresh it as and when necessary.

Enjoy your boiling hot summer
wear a tinted moisturiser on your face instead of foundation - if you wear foundation in hot weather its bound to give you spots. Just go natural and get you eyelashed tinted and then instead of mascara put vasline on your lashes and then wear a nice baby pink gloss go to boots N17 the brand its only about £3 but does a good job. As for blusher - dont use it go to benefit and get the highbeam and put it on your cheeks and it will give a lovely healthy shimmer :D
Don't use an oil-based foundation as it will look shiney, especially when you begin to sweat!

Before you put on your foundation, use Benefit Dr. Feelgood all over your face (it helps matten your complexion and keep make up on - works miracles!)

When applying foundation, use a mineral based one, it will be much less prone to running or rubbing off in hot weather as oily liquid ones. I recomment Loreal True Match Mineral foundation/loose powder.

Only use powder blusher aswell, the oily type blushers that resemble lipgloss will slide off straight away!

Same with eyeshadow, try a mineral powdered one, and of course, waterproof mascara! It will stay on no matter how much you sweat!

Hope this helps :) x
Chritie, the best makeup choice for summers is to keep it as natural as possible.

Opt for tinted moisturiser rather than a foundation as foundation makes the face appear cakey after a while because of sweat. Use lots of mascara and avoid eyeliner, or wear a pencil one.

use pink or peach blusher to bring the sun-kissed look. and wear lots of glossy lipstick.

You'll want a super sheer foundation or just a bronzing gel (go easy on the color -- you don't want to look like a has-been tv actor!)

Absolutely right about the waterprooh eyeliner. Mascara, too. IDK what brands you have in your area. Here in Los Angeles (and the US), I like Maybeline.

Stay cool. Try to effect the ';fresh as a daisy'; look when it's swealtering :)
Anything waterproof is usually best as it wont smear like the others. I like Lancome powder foundation or any loose powder because my skin never looks shiny from those. If anything, try wearing as little makeup as possibe because that always looks best. :)
im not sure what the exact name is called..but they used jessica alba for the ad on tv. for revlon. well ot starts of as a white moisturiser then it addapts to your skin tone and makes a perfect smooth fountation-like thing.
probably nothing!! Your foundation will just melt off and create a srikey look!!

If anything, a little bit of concealer is best just to cover up any blemishes or abit of tinted moisturiser - from Olay
I agree with Blonde..tinted moisturizer is the way to go in hot weather. It provides sheer coverage and will even out your skin tone. Try ';YouRebel'; by Benefit.
Definitely water proof eyeliner. And maybe Foundation with SPF, ♥
Try Bareminerals... works for me when I travel to Vietnam or Philippines.
Just go au natural! I'm sure you don't need the makeup. :]
like i wear mac studio fix
Any brand of talc free mineral make up will do.
