Why do girls find it necessary to wear makeup to school?!?

I mean seriously, going to school is not about looking good, it's about buckling down and getting an education. We don't need to look pretty to perform algebraic equations, or write essays. I'm tired of going to school and getting picked on for no wearing makeup, when they're the ones who wear so much of it they look like they have dunked their


whole face into a makeup bucket.





SO WHY?!Why do girls find it necessary to wear makeup to school?!?
why do people wear clothes? why do people change their hair?





makeup is a form of expression. i'm not one to wear too much but i don't agree with what you're saying. let them pick on you, you have confidence in your looks. unfortunately, many girls nowadays are insecure with themselves so they feel wearing a ton of makeup makes them look prettier. makeup isn't all that bad, people look good with or without it :)Why do girls find it necessary to wear makeup to school?!?
i dont see anything wrong with it, ik alot of girls who wear make up, look beautiful, and are very dilligent students. Girls were made to look beautiful, im sure they enjoy looking good, i dont see anything wrong with a girl wearing makeup to school. However, its the girls who are beautiful without makeup that are truly beautiful, but thats off subject. I mean the same arguement could be made, why shower every morning or brush your teeth every morning, they just want to look their best, im sure they put make up on while they arent in school too. Anyhow, if theyre doing bad in school its not because they wear make up, its because they arent trying, if they didnt wear make up theyd still suck at school.
Maybe because they can, and they want to.


I wore makeup everyday in highschool, the whole ordeal. %26amp; I still looked natural and not like a plastic doll. Whats wrong with enhancing your features?


AND I got ALL A's. So, if I want to wear makeup, or any other person wants to wear makeup it's because WE WANT TO. It's not all about vainty, or looking cool, I do it because thats what I like to do, and I prefer to keep myself well kept, and it's what I wanted to major in, Cosmotology.





You should stop complaining about what other people do in school, and think about your own stuff.
I agree with you school isn't a beauty competition but I know I wear make up cause it makes me feel better about myself. I don't do it for the people around me I do it for me. And people are just *** holes for picking on you for not wearing make up. You continue working hard in school and you'll be the one making fun of them when you have a high class job and they'll be working on the side of the road trying to get a meal at McDonnalds (:
Because another part of school is socializing. You want to look pretty to have fun with your friends. Looking pretty gives you more confidence. I wear makeup to school. I don't look like I've dunked my face into a makeup bucket. I look polished. You don't need to spend all of your time on makeup, but if you give it a try I bet it could improve your life.
school isn't just about education. it is also about having a social life.and looks is a factor towards this. plus it gives you self-confidence. =D





btw....the people who are experts at makeup can make it look natural. Im a guy and I wear it. no one can tell. Its a secret. They dont even know my whole face is filled with acne scars lol. If they saw it...trust me, I'd be seen as one of the ugliest guys.
Because school has not always been about academics...


It is where teens can be social. If girls that wear makeup to school bother you.. then you are truly insecure. I mean seriously let them do what they gotta do.. A lot of teen girls prefer not to go out in public without makeup. You focus on what you think is important at school and stop worrying about the people around you.
Dont worry about why. Just know that your reasoning for what school is for is dead on. And when you get to college most students look like crap most of the time, no time for makeup when your serious about your education. On the other hand there is a time and place for everything.

i dont really know. It probably just makes them feel pretty. or maybe they feel like they have to impress people. I mean i wear make up to skool, like masscara and eye liner, and i just do it cause i like too. and i dont even wear it that often.
different reasons. foundation to cover flaws. eyeliner to make the eyes noticable. sometimes people who wear alot of makeup%26amp; tease others that don't, are insecure about their natural look and envy the other girls that don't have to wear anything at all.

It's all about pleasing the crowds to them. The ones who puts on makeup probably just want to feel like everyone else. You know what i mean? Just pleasing the crowds so they don't feel different or left out i guess.
They wear it because there are guys there. Unless you go to an all girls school. Then I dunno, maybe they're lez. (jk)





And some people just like how they look better with makeup. I wear it everytime I leave the house.. unless I'm sick... whatever.
People are vain. A lot focus on the physical appearences of themselves and people around them and they forget focus on what matters and what thay have to do.
Because the 9th-12th grade is all about popularity to today's age. The better you look, the more friends you have, the 'cooler' you are.
Umm......so to be ABLE to study and learn you should look plain? And if you wear makeup to school, you're not trying to learn? Where are you going with this?

because the way our society is...they think looks is everything, and people think wearing make-up makes them look good....but they don't know they are just putting chemicals on their face....
