Is it truly necessary to remove my makeup at night with makeup removers and not regular bar soap? Also, it is?

possible for someone to recommend a type of easy makeup removers to me. Age: 18, skin type: combination ( minor t-zone trouble and sometimes cheeks a tad ';tight'; in winter) I have small pores on nose.

There's my life in a nutshell... :)

Thanks for your help.Is it truly necessary to remove my makeup at night with makeup removers and not regular bar soap? Also, it is?
This will sound strange, but the best advice I ever got was to start using baby wipes for makeup removal (get unscented). There are a few brands that work really well - they stay moist in their little container, and are large, so you usually only need one. They are cheap as well. Interesting, eh? But work well!Is it truly necessary to remove my makeup at night with makeup removers and not regular bar soap? Also, it is?
i have the same skin type as you but with larger pores, %26amp; i use macs everyday lotion cleanser. it can be used by itself on a tissue or with water as a cleanser.

i tried macs wipes but found out i was allergic to them, same goes for their fix+ %26amp; studio moisture cream (aka moisturefeed skin).

it is definitely necessary to remove ALL makeup before sleeping. your skin needs to breathe %26amp; heal from the day. if you leave makeup on overnight your pores are going to be irratated %26amp; you will break out after a while. removing makeup is like taking the day off, cleansing the face is the shower for the face. if you bath your body everyday, why not your face?
Yes, if not pores will be clog up and skin cells will not renew themselves. end up having dull skin.
I use Mary Kay's make up remover its only 14.00 a bottle...

Gently removes eye makeup, including waterproof mascara, without tugging or pulling the delicate skin in the eye area. Formula does not leave skin feeling dry.

Hope that helps!
well definitely remove your makeup before bed. If you dont, and then remove it in the morning, your skin wont look as good...u might get pimples, etc. use either dove soap or a gentle cleanser such as Cetaphil. u can get both at target or walmart.
yes, it is a true necessity! take care of your delicate skin. if you aren't thoroughly washing your face (wiping down, etc.) you may want to use a cotton ball and some toner (in some cases astringent) to get the soapy residue and left over particles off of your face. Pick one from the drugstore. Bar soap can be harsh for daily use on your face. it won't hurt a few times, but don't make it regular.
yes u have to remove make up
I use a cleanser and sometimes exfoliation.

I love GlyDerm Gentle Cleanser (rec. by a Plastic Surgeon) and a few times a week use Crystal Peel (high quality scrub you can buy online). Glycolic acids work very well to keep skin cells turning over. For over the counter stuff in your local stores, try Cetaphil or Dove soap.
